DJ Brownie, aka Marc Brownstein, is the bassist of The Disco Biscuits and co-founder of both HeadCount and Camp Bisco, multiple projects that helped define the modern jam and electronic crossover movement.

Behind the decks, Brownie channels that same spirit of improvisation into groove-driven house sets built for the dance floor. Rooted primarily in house music, with excursions into downtempo, hip-hop, and drum and bass, his DJ sets are fully responsive to the room. Nothing is pre-scripted. Every set unfolds in real time.

Decades of commanding festival stages have sharpened his instinct for tension and release, but in the DJ booth it is all about connection. He reads the crowd, shifts energy, and keeps bodies moving.
